FARMINGTON, CT - July 19, 2007 - Pagos, Inc. today announced the release and immediate availability of SpreadsheetWEB version 1.3

What's new?

  • Brand new input type called 'Grid'
  • Template library
  • Custom application button positioning

Grid Input Type

Grid input type is a brand new input type that allows to place large ranges of input cells in a single input cell making it much easier to manage large numbers of input cells, if they are grouped in a matrix. It also creates a look and feel very similar to Excel.

Template Library

Users can create new applications in minutes using the pre-installed templates featuring applications like web forms, online questionnaires, or typical applications from accounting, finance, real estate, and many more.

The template library is available from the SpreadsheetWEB menu in Excel. Simply modify the template with your own data and turn it into a web application in minutes.

Custom Application Button Positioning

It is now possible to place the buttons for 'calculate', 'submit', etc. wherever wanted on the application for a much better user interface experience.

Notes to the Editor

1. SpreadsheetWEB converts Microsoft Excel spreadsheets into real web applications and hosts them instantly on SpreadsheetWEB servers. Within minutes a spreadsheet is converted, online, and ready to be shared with others.

2. The update to version 1.3 is the third one since SpreadsheetWEB's introduction to the market in June 2006. The next release is planned for August/September 2007 and will be a major update, therefore the next version number will be 2.0.
