SpreadsheetWEB 6.4 Now Available
Cambridge, MA, September 24, 2018 – Pagos, Inc. today announced the release of SpreadsheetWEB 6.4 version, featuring form-based grids, and enhanced visualization capabilities through additions to the new dashboard module.
The designer module that became part of the SpreadsheetWEB repertoire about a year ago, has been a big success with its intuitive controls and advanced features that experienced Excel users can take advantage of. Every application created with the designer is natively mobile-enabled and new features have been geared towards making mobile experience seamless for the end users.
One of the challenges working with grid style tables, especially on mobile devices, is that it’s very hard to allow users enter data in an intuitive way. This problem is mainly caused by the lack of real estate on smaller device screens. SpreadsheetWEB aims to resolve this challenge with the introduction of form-based grids. A form-based grid is an optional feature available for input grids, that can automatically create a form window, based on the columns of the original table. Users can easily manage data entry into large tables through this new interface.
In this version, SpreadsheetWEB also features ‘multiples’ and ‘animations’ tools for the new dashboard component that was introduced in the previous release. Multiples allows creating multiple visualizations from a single chart, based on a user selected data field. Visualizations can now be animated on a predetermined frequency, and periodically filter data based on a data column, with the help of the new animations feature.
“Manipulating large data tables in mobile devices has always been a challenge due their smaller screen size” said Ugur Kadakal, CEO of Pagos, Inc. “In this version, we have improved our data grid module to allow users to enter data through auto-generated forms. This makes it easier to enter data especially on mobile devices without losing any functionality.”
